![]() ![]() A bit like Shadow Fiend from DOTA but not quite. You loose stacks if you die or R recasts. It'll just amplify the damage per soul fragment or add another effect when you have fragment stacks. But make it different in a way that you don't actually need to be stack dependent in order to deal damage. Revert it to the old capped stack mechanic, where recasting R would consume all the souls. Swain has multiple ways to absorb and hold on to Soul Fragments, currency he’ll use for his ultimate.(Maybe on top of the max health he gains?) Give him bonuses per 'milestone' of souls collected. Check this quite hefty average of 3.2 soul fragments per minute.Just scrap the damned stack mechanic and buff/change his base abilities overall.Something like Swain gaining 2.5 max HP and 0.75 AP per soul shard. Make his stack scaling more akin to Thresh.Soul fragments restore 4 / 5. I have a few ideas on how they could tackle this: Swain collects soul fragments from Vision of Empire, Nevermore, and enemy champion deaths. The only one who has it worse off is Shyvanna. We have Veigar, Nasus Q, Senna's absurd and absolutely overloaded stack mechanic, Sion and Cho's better health gain (that also scales with their abilities offensively), Thresh souls giving him armor, AP, and E passive damage. Swain's is just plain bad.Īll of them, aside from our boi, gain stats off things other than champions. Swain’s new abilities lets him claim both the life and souls of his enemies, draining health from foes and collecting Soul Fragments to strengthen powerful Demonflares as part of his. A battle mage who controls combat with sustained damage and healing whilst dealing damage with a tactical feel. Another thing that frustrates me is how they handled Swain's stacking mechanic. Swain has been a champion whom I have long liked the idea of his playstyle, but never really felt like it worked the way Riot wanted it to. Aside from his abysmal early game (and meh late game) wave clear, high mana costs, and incredibly long CDs. ![]()
